Los 100 mejores vocalistas del metal de todos los tiempos es una lista realizada por la revista estadounidense Hit Parader en noviembre de 2006.[1][2]

Según ha comentado la revista, «hacer nuestra lista ha sido una tarea complicada considerando la amplitud del metal durante sus 35 años de reinado como la fuerza más duradera del rock. Hemos intentando que no se convirtiera en un concurso de popularidad donde solo los vocalistas más famosos fueran reconocidos. Claro, gente como Robert Plant, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne o Ronnie James Dio están aquí, pero también otros notables como Mogg, Owens y Sandoval».

Este listado incluye a algunos de los máximos exponentes de este género musical, aunque la revista incluyó a algunos cantantes de otros géneros musicales como David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Ray Davies de The Kinks o Ann Wilson, por nombrar algunos.

Solamente fueron incluidas cuatro mujeres en la lista, siendo estas: Amy Lee, Cristina Scabbia, Ann Wilson y Joan Jett
También este ranking ignoró varias voces exponentes del género como por ejemplo Michael Kiske y Andi Deris (ambos de Helloween), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Till Lindemann (Rammstein), Timo Kotipelto (Stratovarius), Tarja Turunen (Nightwish), Joey Tempest (Europe), Michael Sweet (Stryper), Chuck Schuldiner (Death), Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of fire), entre otros.
