English: Russian Federation, Order Of Merits To The Fatherland 4th class. Established by Decree No. 442 of 2 March 1994. Amended by Decree No. 19 of 6 January 1999. Awarded for "outstanding contributions to the state, labour achievements and significant contributions to the defence of the State". Crossed golden swords are worn on the suspension when awarded for distinction in combat.
