English: The U.S. Navy escort carrier USS Anzio (CVE-57) arrives at Shanghai, China, on 1 December 1945 as part of the "Magic Carpet" operation to return U.S. servicemen to the United States. Anzio was the first U.S. carrier to visit Shanghai.
