Guerrilla y organización terrorista en Baluchistán

El Ejército de Liberación de Baluchistán (en baluchi: بلۏچستان آجوییء لشکر), también conocido como el Ejército de Liberación Baluchi, es una guerrilla y movimiento de liberación nacional, denominada como organización terrorista,[1]​ con base en Afganistán.[2]​[3]​[4]​ El ELB figura en la lista de organizaciones terroristas de Pakistán,[5]​ Reino Unido[6]​ y Estados Unidos.[7]​[8]​

Desde 2004, el ELB ha librado una violenta lucha armada contra Pakistán por lo que reivindica como la autodeterminación del pueblo baluchi y la separación de Baluchistán de Pakistán y ha participado en la limpieza étnica de las minorías no baluchis en Baluchistán.[9]​[10]​[11]​

El ELB opera principalmente en Baluchistán, la provincia más grande de Pakistán, donde lleva a cabo ataques contra las Fuerzas Armadas de Pakistán, civiles y extranjeros.[12]​[13]​ La organización se dio a conocer públicamente durante el verano de 2000, tras reivindicar una serie de ataques con bombas a las autoridades pakistaníes.[14]​
