Sus laterales, pecho y costados de su cuello son de un tono ante brillante, su pico es completamente oscuro. TheEl crown[[Píleo is(aves)|píleo]] heavilyy streakedzonas insuperiores blackde asla cabeza posee un arecerrado thejaspeado upperpartsnegro. Las plumas externas de la cola también son tono ante.
