El alumno, luego de finalizado su primer año de bachillerato, debe optar por una de las cuatro diversificaciones a realizar el año entrante (2.º BD): Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, Biológica, Científica, y Arte y Expresión.
 
Nuevamente, para su próximo año (3.º BD), se vuelve a elegir una de las distintas opciones, acorde a cada diversificación previamente elegida para 2.º BD. Los estudiantes que hayan cursado la diversificación Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, promueven a tercer año de bachillerato optando entre Social Humanística (Derecho) o Social Económica (Economía); los que hayan cursado la diversificación Biológica, promueven a tercer año de bachillerato optando entre Ciencias Biológicas (Medicina) o Ciencias Agrarias (Agronomía); los que hayan cursado la diversificación Científica, promueven a tercer año de bachillerato optando entre Matemáticas y Diseño (Arquitectura), Físico MatemáticaMatemático (Ingeniería) o Social Económica (Economía); y finalmente, los que hayan cursado la diversificación Arte y Expresión, promueven a tercer año de bachillerato optando entre Arte y Expresión (Artístico) o Matemáticas y Diseño (Arquitectura).{{cr}}
