Descripción
Русский: Герб Староладожского сельского поселения утвержден Решением Совета депутатов муниципального образования Староладожское сельское поселение Волховского муниципального района Ленинградской области № 14 от 20 ноября 2007 года.
Официальные символы составлены в соответствии с традициями и правилами геральдики и отражают исторические, культурные, социально — экономические и национальные традиции.

Символ сокола олицетворяет на гербе и флаге славную историю Старой Ладоги, занявшую особое место в становлении русской государственности. С другой стороны, напоминает трезубец — родовой знак Рюриковичей. Фигура птицы сим зол княжеской эмблемы, стилизация атакующей птицы.

Сокол в геральдике означает благородство, храбрость, ум, силу и красоту. Пурпур — символ власти, достоинства, славы, почета. Золото — символ благодати, урожая, богатства, величия божественного огня и солнечного света.
