Bhavai Dance

Terhtali Dance

Ghoomar Dance

This dance is performed by most of the women wearing a veil and a swirling dress called “Ghagra”. Ghoomar is usually performed on special occasions, such as weddings, Holi, festivals and religious functions. The songs of Ghoomar may focus on royal and royal legends or their traditions.

Chari Dance

Chari dance is a fascinating and very famous folk dance of Rajasthan in India. It is performed by women and this dance is popular in Ajmer and Kishangarh of Rajasthan. Puppet dance, Rajasthan Kathputli dance is one of the important and ancient folk art forms of the state of Rajasthan, India. Since ancient times, Rajasthan tribal people have performed this art. No village fair and any religious festival in Rajasthan is complete without a puppet dance. In this dance, the puppeteer uses ballads to tell stories. These tales or tales of romance and chivalry are told with the movements of string puppets.
