As a norwegian, working with history, I am sorry these kinds of legends are spread by Wikipedia. There were of course no viking kings in the time when this burial mound was made, in the período de las grandes migraciones. Vikings emerged several hundred years later.

The name, as well as the legend is obviously much younger than the burial mound. (The oldest person from Norway to be identified with a name, is Ohthere de Hålogaland.) It is not even certain whether there were kingdoms in Norway in these centuries. Most probably, is was chiefdoms. I suggest that the article is edited to describe the mound and its remarkable treasures, rather than a vague legend. Best wishes, --Orland (discusión) 17:16 17 jun 2020 (UTC)
