GoogleTrans(traductor-google.js) Gadget update due to mediawiki v1.17 and for IE9 support

Hi there,

Sorry about the English.

When mediaWiki v1.17 comes on board no Javascript will be able to use document.write(...), which the running version of GoogleTrans Gadget does.

I've put an updated version of GoogleTrans for the eswiki in my account. You can reference it by the Javascript:

importScript("Usuario:Endo999/GoogleTrans.js");

This version also works for ie9 (which the current version running on eswiki now won't!).

There are numerous other improvements.

As I recall we had some problems with the eswiki using importScript and you had to directly call the script with importScriptURI(). This may have to be done again, but perhaps not.

Please contact me on my enwiki account if you wish anything else done. The new version in the eswiki will not need the SHIFT key used to bring up a popup, except if you explicitly ask for this in the tab script.

Usuario:Endo999/GoogleTrans.js is the sole file and code needed for the gadget. No other code in the actual gadget file is needed other than

importScript is not working on eswiki

Hi there,

The GoogleTrans gadget (traducer-Google) is not working on the eswiki due to the javascript function

importScript("User:Endo999/GoogleTrans.js");

not being supported by the javascript on the current eswiki.

All other wikis seem to support this call.

This function is eventually due to be deprecated, however, currently, the mediawiki people have no replacements, so it is okay to use.

I have a new GoogleTrans gadget at:

User:Endo999/GoogleTrans.js

however, it does not run due to the actual gadget file being a one line importScript("User:Endo999/GoogleTrans.js"); call not being supported.

Nuevo espacio de nombres

Hola. Propongo trasladar todas las páginas del espacio de nombres MediaWiki sobre accesorios al espacio de nombres Accesorio. La definición de éste irá al espacio de nombres Accesorio definición, ya que estos espacios de nombres no tienen páginas y todo su contenido está en este. Saludos. Seguramente si. Yo creo que el código del accesorio (ej. removeAccessKeys [ResourceLoader | dependencies=mediawiki.util] | removeAccessKeys.js para el accesorio para remover las teclas de acceso rápido) iría al espacio Accesorio, y su definición como viene en las preferencias (ej. "Deshabilita todas las teclas de acceso rápido") iría a Accesorio definición. Propongo esto porque al momento de trasladar una página se puede escoger los prefijos Accesorio: y Accesorio definición:. También al buscar páginas con esos prefijos e intentar crearlas, se puede ver que en la pestaña de página se puede leer los prefijos, como si el software MediaWiki los reconociera. Además la página está protegida para su creación, por lo que solo bibliotecarios la pueden crear. Saludos cordiales. Komsk (háblame) 00:04 4 oct 2017 (UTC)
