Samuel MacLean Gilmour
Samuel MacLean Gilmour (28 de abril de 1905[1] -1970) fue un académico del Nuevo Testamento, profesor en el Queen's Theological College,[2] profesor Norris del Nuevo Testamento en Andover Newton Theological School[3] y presidente de la Sociedad canadiense de Estudios Bíblicos y de la Sección de la Sociedad de Literatura y Exégesis Bíblica.[4][5] S. MacLean Gilmour también fue miembro del Comité Editorial del Journal of Biblical Literature y miembro de Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas.[5]

Fuentes del Evangelio según Lucas editar
MacLean Gilmour propuso diversas teorías de sobre las fuentes que se utilizaron en el Evangelio Según Lucas.[6][7] Gilmour «argumentó en contra de Streeter y Taylor sosteníendo que la fuente Q constituía un Evangelio completo y que formaba la estructura sobre la cual Lucas compuso su propio Evangelio».[1]: 266 Gilmour añadió que incluso cuando Lucas hizo de Marcos la base de su propio Evangelio, en la narrativa de La pasión de Lucas examinó ese material en su propio Evangelio y lo enriqueció «con material de su propia composición».[1]: 267 Analizando las propuestas de Gilmour y sus antítesis, Xavier Léon-Dufour evaluó la hipótesis de Gilmour como «brillante entre la crítica».[1]: 344
