La temporada 1996 del Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes fue la décima temporada del Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes FIM. La temporada comenzó el 14 de abril en Misano y terminó el 27 de octubre en Phillip Island después de 12 rondas.
