Playvox is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. The company is privately held and has more than 230 employees. The company offers workforce engagement management solutions for contact centers worldwide to increase employee engagement and strengthen the customer experience. Offerings include workforce management, performance, coaching, motivation and customer sentiment solutions. Customers include Noom, NuBank, SoFi, Stitch Fix, Twitter and Zendesk.

In 2012, Playvox was founded in 2012 by Oscar Giraldo. Giraldo got the idea for the business when he was working as a software engineer in Argentina and toured customer service centers. After observing unhappy employees, he wanted to start a company that would help give positive feedback to motivate employees and address turnover issues[1]​.

Acquisitions editar

In February 2020, Playvox acquired Trainbox[2]​, an interactive employee training tool, marking its first company acquisition.

In January 2021, Playvox acquired Agyle Time[3]​, a workforce monitoring SaaS solution. Founded in 2014[4]​ and based in Australia, Agyle Time focused on workforce management and scheduling for contact centers. This is now known as Playvox Workforce Management (WFM).

In January 2022, Playvox acquired Prodsight[5]​, a SaaS provider of AI-driven customer interaction analytics. Prodsight was founded in 2017 and grew around natural language processing (NLP) technology for messaging and chats between companies and their customers[6]​.  This is now known as Playvox Customer AI and is also the engine supporting AutoQA.

Playvox solutions address challenges common in contact centers, including disengagement and employee turnover. With software solutions for agent coaching and motivation, contact center leaders can work to engage employees and reduce these issues. The company also offers contact center leaders software to forecast and schedule agents, manage performance, and monitor customer sentiment.
