Bienvenido y algunos consejos

Hola Douglasfugazi. He visto que te has sumado al Wikiproyecto:Ciclismo y que has estado haciendo ediciones en algunos artículos de equipos y ciclistas de tu país. Primero que nada te doy la bienvenida y ojalá que puedas seguir aportando. Lo segundo quería avisarte que algunos de los cambios que has hecho no son correctos y los rectifiqué. Por ejemplo, en el artículo Rafael Infantino, él no ganó la 4ª etapa de la Vuelta a Colombia, esa etapa la ganó Óscar Sevilla (lo puedes ver en ésta nota del periódico El Tiempo y en la página de la UCI), con lo cual fueron 3 etapas que ganó.

Y lo otro (siempre hablando del artículo Rafael Infantino) es el equipo Aguardiente Antioqueño-Lotería de Medellín que lo habías puesto como profesional en 2013. El año pasado, el Orgullo Antioqueño no fue registrado en la Unión Ciclista Internacional. Un equipo que no se registra, no es considerado profesional y por eso figuraba como amateur. Aquí está la lista de equipos profesionales registrados en 2013, donde colombianos, se registraron el 4-72-Colombia, EPM-Une y el Coldeportes-Claro.

Por nada Douglas. Es así, a mí también me pasó al principio pero con un poco de ayuda y orientación se fué aprendiendo. Bienvenido si puedes actualizar los equipos colombianos aunque sea. Eso es algo que año a año se nos atrasa un poco, primero porque hay mil cosas que hacer y al ser pocos los que editamos sobre ciclismo, le damos prioridad a los equipos de más categoría. Y segundo que la lista oficial de los equipos continentales va siendo publicada en la página de la UCI de a poco. Incluso hoy, creo que todavía faltan equipos para éste año. Ese es un "método" que uso a veces para sacarme la duda sobre un nombre, buscar el facebook o el twitter. A veces un simple error cuando escriben en una página, nos lleva a equivocarnos a nosotros también. Recuerdo cuando hice el artículo de Janier Acevedo, no me quedaba claro, porque todos las páginas web de Colombia ponían Janier, pero la UCI ponía Javier. Plantillas de navegación

Buenas, he visto que ha estado añadido algunas plantillas de navegación en los artículos, las cuales van en contra de la política, específicamente el punto 3, la parte que dice: Las horizontales no podrán superar tres líneas de enlaces, sin contar la habitual línea de cabecera. Creo que está un poco confundido, el hecho de que esté justificada no quiere decir que se pueda ignorar la política, sino que debe haber una buena razón para crearla, y si la hay, debe igual cumplir con la política. Matiia (discusión) 04:50 24 dic 2015 (UTC)

Nada de eso, las normas son las normas, un wikiproyecto no puede ir en contra de las normas de Wikipedia. Si yo no estoy de acuerdo con una plantilla, lo correcto es que lo escriba en la página de discusión de dicha plantilla (la cual no puedo encontrar y me parece que solo copió algo que aparece en un artículo), no en la página de discusión de un wikiproyecto. Ces dernières semaines il y a eu de grosses évolutions avec Wikidata, et après ProCyclingStats je peux proposer aux contributeurs espagnols un programme commun à treize Wikipédias disposant à ce jour de deux fonctions. L'objectif est simple : au lieu de travailler chacun de notre côté, quelques contributeurs travaillent sur Wikidata et en font bénéficier les autres, qui ont ainsi du temps pour se consacrer à la rédaction des articles, ce qui est la plus-value de Wikipédia par rapport aux bases de données. D'autres fonctions seront développées dans les prochaines semaines, notamment pour générer les classements.

Hola Douglas, gracias por la "bienvenida" !!

Eso sí, como para líder de equipo no estoy, apenas hice unos kilómetros después de un tiempo de no agarrar la bici. Además el proyecto ciclismo es duro y sacrificado como una Gran Vuelta y yo en la montaña no ando nada así que puedo dar una mano en el llano solamente. Vamos a ver, espero no involucrarme en ninguna caída o no agarrar mucho viento en contra y que se me corte el pelotón, jaja.

Fuera de chanzas, estuve mirando un poco y poniéndome al día con lo que estaba hecho y lo que no, y alguna cosa que fui encontrando la fui corrigiendo. También tengo que ponerme al día y leer más sobre estos cambios que han habido (puntajes y rankings nuevos). Voy a calcular los puntajes del Tour de San Luis así ya me voy metiendo en el tema.

Yes, it was an english spoken user that create a little item, I add informations, and I test the new function Plantilla:Cycling race/infobox on Tour de Omán 2016. I need you translate the documentation d:Module:Cycling race in spanish, because we need the users are able to update the datas on Wikidata. I also need you translate in spanish the Kit to translate (the value we use the most on cycling). Molarus have done a big work, so we are interested if you can give new if you have bugs. On another part, as you know, I illustrate cycling races in the north of France and in Belgium, you can see a part of these photos in your articles. Two days ago, I illustrate a press conference for the Grand Prix de Denain at 13 km from my house, and do cartography. I provide in a project to illustrate around 50 cycling race this season (it is a request for a budget), essentially by bike and by train, and to deploy Wikidata on around twenty Wikipedia to mutualise the work (spend less time to enter datas and more time to write texts, as you know, it start to work). It will be very hard, especially because I will do the majority of my race in bike and by train and because when I am not on race I am on the computer to upload files 10 hours by day, but not only I have kilos to lost... but it is also a pleasure to work with cyclists. A part of them know my project, and they know that all the work will rests in place on Wikipedia & Co even after their career. So a part of the project is to make possible that Wikipedias of their languages have articles about them but also about the races they participate. Thanks to organisers, I sometimes receive documentation that permits me to draw cartography. So I hope in the future I will only do photos and cartography. Thanks to the new infobox, when I will make a card, I will add his name to Wikidata thanks to the property P242 and it will appear on all articles that have this infobox, I save time and I can produce more cards. It will be the same with datas, once one use will enter them on Wikidata, you will save time, and you will can create more articles about races or take the time to write text to increase the quality. In FR Wiki, our objective is to have this year one article for each race of the UCI Europe Tour. And because we only fill our infoboxes with Wikidata, you will benefit of these datas. Even for team roster it will have novelties. You for example, you have Anexo:Plantillas del Movistar Team. An user from Latvia, Papuass, create a similar program that permit to display the team roster by season with a code from one line. On Wikidata, with P527, we just list the cyclists (and it is very fast), and the program search the nationality (as it already exists) and the birth date. The next step will be to search the previous team (we don't have try, but it will arrive). When a cyclist will change of team, we will add the information in the property P54 and add a source. You can see an example on lv:Team Sky and others WorldTeams. With P580 and P582, we will can add in the team roster if a cyclist enter or left the team during the season. Anthony59999 from FR Wiki enter these datas because our infobox count the number of cyclists by team, then he create article about the season. The idea of Papuass was to use these datas to help him because he work on a little Wikipedia. In the future, when this program will be well established, we can imagine teams of contributors that create articles about old cycling teams between 1950 and 2000. One working with the datas, another writing articles with sources, and others speakers translating in their languages these articles.

For races, we can imagine contact organizations and ask them a copy of their technical guides (with cartography), one user made new cards thanks to openstreetmaps, another enter datas on Wikidatas, another write detailed articles, and other speaker made translations. We all understand english, it is a good occasion to work together.

For photos, we can imagine that a user of ES Wiki go on the terrain and collaborate with organizers to be accredited, and make like me a big number of files. He can ask a budget to the Foundation or Wikimedia Spain. Users will work about datas, I can make new cards, and give advices the upload of files (I have a central repository for descriptions, that can be translated). Even if I can change of country, I will never can be at two place on the same time. Wikipedia grow, it is the occasion to test many new things. Hi, can you explain to Luis1970 why it is interesting to use Cycling race and why it is logic that using an english name because it is more easy to copy paste the code. He seems have difficulties to understant that is is more easy and logic to work together instead of resting only beetwen French or Spanish speakers. It will takes time, because it suppose that we have for each cyclist a statement to P734 and another to P735. If one is lacking, the order will not be perfect.

One thing is sure, we will save time. You have on ES Wiki an user that update the roster for all teams. If he decide to work on Wikidata, and it will be faster because we have more items for cyclists each day, other users will can pass their time at other things. In the other side, which races of second classes is neeeded help ? Maybe I would to help you if we organize a plan, also we need asap a quickly way to create a new element (New Item) on Wikidata but copying all same information from another element in order to save time. Hola Douglas. Hice unas cuantas modificaciones al artículo del Colombia (equipo ciclista) para darle un tono más neutral (Parecía propaganda) y para meter referencias relacionadas con los malos manejos, el retraso de pagos y las controversias del fin del equipo. carreras de un día

Hola. Gracias por tu comentario. Si miras mis contribuciones verás que también he colaborado en muchas otras carreras de esta temporada. Para esas 3 carreras que comentas me he limitado a copiar el formato del año anterior, por lo que creo que es correcto. Tengo intención de ir cambiándo esas carreras al formato actual, pero mientras no tenga tiempo para ello he pensado que al menos que sean similares a los años anteriores. No me parece que esté mal así, ya que así se ha hecho durante muchos años. Entonces, ¿están sin wikificar también todos los años anteriores? Y respecto al error que dices y que están desordenadas, ¿también están desordenadas todos los años anteriores? Del error, si eres más concreto te lo agradezco, ya que he copiado las categorías de procyclingstats, aunque me puedo haber equivocado... o mejor, te animom a corregirlo o a que tú mismo las modifiques al formato del wikiproyecto si tienes la oportunidad. Y por cierto, la etiqueta que has puesto creo que sobra, las páginas son acordes al manual de estilo, otra cosa es que aún no cumplan los requerimientos del wikiproyecto ciclismo, pero no es requesito obligado cumplir el wikiproyecto, aunque sí lo recomendable. Classifications with Wikidata

Hi Douglasfugazi. With Molarus the work continue to be able to display classifications with Wikidata. Tour de Romandía

Hola Douglasfugazi.
La verdad es que para hacer así las tablas, hice un simple "copy-past" de una página de la Vuelta en la wikipedia... por ejemplo, la Vuelta a España de 1955 (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vuelta_a_España_1955). Cogí un modelo, y le cambié algunas cositas en la primera edición...y después iba copiando el modelo anterior para hacer el del año posterior.
De hecho, no encontré referencias ni nada sobre el jersey de la montaña ni de los puntos/regularidad/sprint (según como le llamen) hasta 1997, y me puse en contacto con la organización del Tour de Romandía, a ver si me podían dar más información, porque ni en la edición francesa de la wikipedia solo están creadas las últimas ediciones.

Estimado Douglasfugazi me encuentro enriqueciendo el historial del ciclismo colombiano con las vueltas regionales: Vuelta a Antioquia (creada por otro usuario), Vuelta a Boyacá y Vuelta a Cundinamarca creadas por mi (y en camino estoy recopilando la info para la Vuelta al Valle). Por lo tanto en esa labor y siguiendo los principios para documentar los palmarés en Wikipedia (victorias de etapa y top 3) he complementado en el palmarés de todos los ciclistas con el podio de estas "Clásicas Regionales". Nuestro Supermán López es parte de dichos palmarés, así como Fabio Parra, el mismo Nairo en una Vuelta al Valle y muchos otros quienes se han preparado en las "Clasicas Regionales", por lo que te pido dejar los enlaces de la Vuelta a Boyacá en el palmarés.

Cycling and Wikidata

For example: FR Teamroster, FR Stageclassification is not the same than ES Teamroster, ES Stageclassification why ? I don't know. Also I can see a new template in FR Stageinfobox, it looks nice, when will be added to ES Wiki?.... I've found some bugs with Teamroster. For example, go to: Boyacá Raza de Campeones and the Plantilla 2017 some Équipe précédente isn't linked correctly. Cayetano Sarmiento was a 2016 rider to EPM Tigo - Une Área Metropolitana, but the Equipo Previo is not linked, why? I don't know. Also the rider Javier Gómez Pineda is linked to one team of 2015 but in Wikidata I've addedd correctly the Property P:54 to a team from 2016. Also, What happened with Baremo of UCI Points ? It is the first time I see the difference for stageclassification, I know the process for teamroster but not for others. Along the time, options have been developed. If you want, you can create Module:Cycling race/lang from fr:Module:Cycling race/lang and add the link on d:Q27922085. By making this translation, you will can display the countries for teamroster and classifications (even generalclassification, I see that at this moment).

You already have stageinfobox but the name is different even if you will see in the history I make the possibility to use the flobal name.

It is a mistake I explain you few days ago on Wikidata. You put as value for teams of d:Q955949 the items of seasons where you must use the items of teams. I made the correction. For the dates, there is no need to write 1st january or 31st december because the algotithm know this when there is no precision. Items for seasons are just here to display informations about rosters and future infobox for season teams and future function for victories. I make a similar correction for Javier Gómez Pineda.

Good question about the UCI Points. Thanks to your vote and even your translation, I think we will have in few days new properties about classifications. Now the process works very well, it will not be so difficult for Molarus to invent these new functions. Then, we need infoboxes for teams and season teams. Then a function to display the victories, note that we are already able to list them on Wikidata. So finally we will need to display this famous table of UCI Points. We have started to collect datas here but it lacks again datas for UCI races 10, 20 or 30 years before. On the same time, we will have to make an update for 2017. It is planned, but it will takes time. On my side, my wish is to continue to illustrate races. I will also have work IRL and I start reeduction in few weeks (due to a problem at lumbars). But my hope is to finish all of these functions next year, spend less time to enter datas, spend more time to illustrate more race, have an assistant for uploads, make cartography. At the beginning we use Q55, but an user come, make run a bot and Q29999. The same kind of people who try to replace our statements for races P31 by P279 (not done) and the same that make a merge few days ago without discussing, I spend my time to correct the algorithm and give it to other Wikipedias... Buenas. Las carreras femeninas esta en PCS (http://www.procyclingstats.com/races.php?id=&c=5). Su nombre esta en inglés, pero puedes hacerte una idea. Yo lo que hago, aunque no sé si es del todo correcto, es si la carrera se llama totalemente igual que la masculina poner femenino en minúscula para indicar que es un "añadido" no oficial para que quede tal que así: Strade Bianche femenina 2017, Tour de Drenthe femenino 2017... (femenino/femenina dependiendo la concordancia de género). Si en el nombre de la carrera viene alguna indicación que es femenina ya si lo pongo en mayúscula Amstel Gold Race Ladies --> Amstel Gold Race Femenina 2017, Fleche Wallone Femmes 2017 --> Flecha Valona Femenina 2017...
