Victor Wolfgang von Hagen

Víctor Wolfgang von Hagen (San Luis, Misuri, EE. UU., 29 de febrero de 1908 - Italia, 8 de marzo de 1985)​ fue un explorador estadounidense, historiador arqueológico, antropólogo y relator de experiencias viajeras que exploró la América precolombina junto con su esposa (Christine, más tarde Sylvia). Entre los años 1940 y 1965, publicó un gran número de libros sobre el antiguo pueblo de los incas, los mayas y aztecas.

A principios del año 1950, participó en una exploración de dos años a través de antiguos caminos incas del Perú y encontró al único puente colgante de cuerdas sobreviviente de esta cultura.

Su hija, Adriana von Hagen, es codirectora de un museo de Leimebamba (Perú).
