Victoria Justice es una actriz, cantante, bailarina, modelo y compositora estadounidense de pop, dance-pop y R&B. Ella ha grabado distintas canciones para sus cuatro álbumes en bandas sonoras, un álbum de remezclas, entre otros, en donde ha colaborado con distintos compositores y productores. Debutó en la industria musical subiendo covers de canciones a YouTube donde inmediatamente llamó la atención de Nickelodeon Records en donde lanzó su sencillo debut, «A Thousand Miles», cover de la cantante Vanessa Carlton la cual estaba proyectada para formar parte de su primer álbum de estudio en 2007 aunque luego fue cancelado. Dos años más tarde, participó en la película de Nickelodeon Spectacular! en donde grabó canciones para la banda sonora de la película, en la cual grabó junto a Nolan Gerard Funk, Tammin Sursok y Simon Curtis. En 2010, Justice protagonizó su propia serie Victorious, en donde lanzó la primera banda sonora de la serie 'Victorious: Music from the Hit TV Show el 2 de agosto de 2011 la cual cuenta con 12 canciones en la 'edición estándar, 1 en el bonus track y 3 en el bonus track de Asia. El 1 de diciembre de 2011 Nick Records lanzó el primer álbum de remezclas de la serie,'Victorious: The Remixes la cual cuenta con un remix de 5 canciones de Victorious: Music from the Hit TV Show respectivamente. El 5 de junio de 2012 se lanzó Victorious 2.0: More Music from the Hit TV Show lanzó la segunda banda sonora y primer EP de Victorious la cual se compone de 6 canciones de la edición estándar, 1 en el bonus track y 1 en el bonus track de Asia. Justice para promocionar Victorious 2.0 se fue de gira bajo el nombre de Make It in America Tour del 2 de agosto al 14 de septiembre de 2012 por los Estados Unidos. El segundo y final EP y tercera y final banda sonora de Victorious, Victorious 3.0: Even More Music from the Hit TV Show fue lanzada el 6 de noviembre de 2012 de la cual 4 de las 5 canciones de la edición estándar y 1 de las 2 del bonus track fueron interpretadas por Victoria Justice. Justice ha mencionado que quiere un álbum solo con canciones escritas por ella diciendo que esperaba que saliera en 2013. El 18 de junio de 2013 público su primer sencillo «Gold» junto con «Shake» ambas proyectadas para su álbum debut. Justice como despedida para Victorious Victoria decidió irse de gira bajo el nombre de 'Here's 2 Us Tour que casi fue cancelada debido a bajas respuestas aunque después se unió a Big Time Rush al Summer Break Tour.
