El World Press Photo de 2018 fue la 61.ª entrega de estos premios. Se escogieron, por primera vez, seis nominados para el Premio World Press Photo of the Year. Se recibieron 73 044 trabajos de 125 países y 4548 fotógrafos de los que se escogieron 42 nominados de 22 países en ocho categorías.^[1]^[2]
