Anexo:Mamíferos de Azores

El nóctulo de las Azores (Nyctalus azoreum) es una especie endémica del archipiélago, junto al murciélago ratonero grande (Myotis myotis), los únicos mamíferos autóctonos de Azores además de los cetáceos que se observan en sus costas

Este anexo recoge las especie de mamíferos silvestres del archipiélago de las Azores. Uno de los más remotos archipiélagos del Atlántico, las Azores estuvieron totalmente despobladas de mamíferos hasta su descubrimiento en el siglo XV, excepto por los mamíferos marinos y dos especies de murciélagos. Todas las demás especies de las islas fueron introducidas por el hombre de manera intencionada o accidental.
