Los obispados sufragáneos de Gurk (establecido en 1070), Chiemsee (1216), Seckau (1218) y Lavant (1225) a veces usaban el título de Fürstbischof, pero nunca ocuparon ningún territorio reichsfrei. Los obispos de Viena (establecidos en 1469) y Wiener Neustadt (1469-1785) no controlaban ningún territorio ni reivindicaban un título principesco.
