Hrafnabjörg is a tuya from the last cold phase of Ice Age in the region of Þingvellir, a lot younger than the Króksfjörður volcano. The last cold spell of Ice Age was in Iceland between 100.000 and 10.000 years ago. (See also: Ari Trausti Guðmundsson: Íslensk fjöll. Reykjavík 2004, 117). Whereas the Króksfjörður volcano has an age of around 10-11 million years. (See eg. Snæbjörn Guðmundsson, Vegvísir um jarðfræði Íslands.
