Date of death
editarThe article says he died on 1961-10-15.
If we accept that the pistol shot heard after midnight, on the morning of 1961-10-01, killed him, then he died on the early morning of 1961-10-01.
It is completely understandable, given his corpse had been rotting in the open, for 3 weeks, that Cuban pathologists could not distinguish between wounds to his corpse, after death, and wounds to his living body, before he was killed.
The article seems to be saying there was some signs his bones were healing, after being broken. This sounds like a misinterpretation, if we accept the bones were broken when his corpse was thrown over a cliff. Geo Swan (discusión) 15:51 28 may 2020 (UTC)
- It is possible that drunken Captain Jackson shot Sabariego, didn't kill him, and threw his body over the cliff, without knowing, or maybe caring, that he wasn't dead yet. It is possible, and chilling, that Cuban pathologists found his broken bones had started to heal, as he died hours after the shooting, at the bottom of the cliff.
