La segunda '''República de Turquestán Oriental''' fue una [[república popular]], con un [[estado títere]] controlado por la [[Unión Soviética]]. Fue sucesora de la [[Primera República del Turquestán Oriental]]. Tenía una mayoría étnica [[uigur]] y minorías [[Kazajo (etnia)|kazaja]] y [[etnia han|han]]. Tuvo la capital situada en [[Ghulja]]. Después de doce años de independencia, la república volvió a ser parte de la [[República de China (1912-1949)|República de China]]. La segunda República del Turquestán Oriental tuvo dos presidentes: Ali Khan Türe y Ehmetjan Qas.
