Línea 9: Los tickets de Waynestock se venden, pero ninguna banda llega. Dejando a Garth para mantener tranquila a la enardecida multitud, Wayne interrumpe la boda de Cassandra antes de huir a la ceremonia con él y ellos regresan juntos, en una escena parecida al final de El Graduado. Mientras tanto, Garth sufre de pánico escenico durante el concierto. Wayne regresa para descubrir que las bandas no habían llegado. In the dream desert, Wayne and Garth consult Morrison, who says that the bands will not come, and that all that matters is they tried. Unable to return to Waynestock, they become lost in the desert and begin to die of starvation. Finding this unacceptable, Wayne and Garth reenact the ending of Thelma & Louise, driving their car off a cliff while trying to find the bands. Finally, Wayne and Garth admit that they just have to end the film with a standard happy ending in which the bands arrive, and Waynestock is a success. Morrison tells Wayne that he needed to organise Waynestock to learn that Cassandra loves him for who he is, and that adulthood requires one to take responsibility while being able to find fun in life. Bobby arrives to Waynestock to pursue Cassandra, but is prevented from entering. En el desierto del sueño, Wayne y Garth consultan a Morrison, quien dice que las bandas no vendran, y que todo lo que importa es que intentaron. Incapaces de regresar a Waynestock, se pierden en el desierto y empiezan a morir de inanición. Encontrando ésto inaceptable, Wayne y Garth recrean el final de Thelma y Louise, manejando su auto hacia un risco mientras tratan de buscar a las bandas. Finalmente, Wayne y Garth admiten que ellos tienen que finalizar el filme con el génerico final feliz en el cual las bandas llegan, y Waynestock es un éxito. Morrison le dice a Wayne que él necesitaba organizar Waynestock para enterarse de que Cassandra le ama por quién es, y que la adultez requiere que uno sea responsable mientras sea posible encontrar la diversión en la vida. Bobby llega a Waynestock para seguir a Cassandra, pero se le niega la entrada.
