El Complejo Bushveld y otras [[Intrusión (geología)|intrusiones]] similares se formaron durante este período. La [[Glaciación Huroniana]], que se inició en el [[Período Sidérico|Sidérico]] hace 2.400 millones de años, concluyó al final del Riásico hace 2.100 millones de años.
