Hola. Sí, soy realmente Jimbo Wales. No hablo español, aunque. Hello! Yes, I am really Jimbo Wales. I do not speak Spanish, though. I wanted only to make an appearance here to say that I would find it unfortunate if there was a vote to change the name, because I so strongly value Wikipedia as an authentic international project, as opposed to a set of nationalistic project.
Wikipedia is a special word, a new word, and the word can have a meaning that extends beyond merely 'an encyclopedia written on the Internet'. The word can mean "peace" and "harmony" and "co-operation" of all the peoples of the world. I hope that the majority of Spanish speakers will agree with that idea, and retain the existing name.
