En la edición del 1 de diciembre de ECW, Trent Barreta (usando otra ortografía del nombre Barreta) junto con su compañero de la FCW, [[Kristopher Pavone|Caylen Croft]], debutaron como heels, derrotando a competidores locales en una lucha en equipos. Luego fue cambiado a la marca ''SmackDown!'', debido al cierre de ''ECW'', debutando el [[27 de febrero]], perdiendo ante [[Cryme Tyme]]. Luego se enfrentaron a The Hart Dinasty perdiendo la lucha.
Perdieron varias luchas en parejas contra diversos equipos. Luego de una mala racha, los [[Dudebusters]] pasaron a face, al vencer a Curt Hawkins y Vance Archer en varias ocasiones en WWE Superstars.
