Metal transporter CNNM3

editar

The metal transporter cnmm3, also known as cyclin m3 or Ancient conserved domain-containing protein 3 is a human transmembrane protein which belongs to the ACDP family. Although cyclin m3 is ubiquitous, it is mostly present in the kidney, brain, lung, spleen, heart and liver. It’s main function is to regulate Mg2+ levels in the cell. Moreover, the gene CNNM3 or ACDP3, contains the sequence to codify this protein.
