| Descripción |
English: The roundtable "Challenges of Scientific Dissemination: in praise of Ernesto Hamburger" was an event organized by NeuroMat that discussed the role of scientific communication, exhibition and education in Brazil, realized on June, 9, at 6:00PM, at the Institute of Physics, at the University of São Paulo. As the title of the roundtable indicates, it was an event in praise of Ernesto Hamburger, a famous Brazilian physicist and popularizer of science. Read more here. Pictured: Claudia D. Vargas, a Brazilian biologist. Claudia received his doctorate in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1997) and got a postdoctoral research conducted at the Institut des Sciences Cognitives in Lyon. She investigates neurophysiology area and the plasticity of the human motor system. Since 2012 she coordinates the Research Center for Neurosciences and Motor Rehabilitation, based in the Institute of Neurology Deolindo Couto of UFRJ. Recently, she has been dedicated to interdisciplinary research in the field of stochastic modeling of cortical plasticity in humans. |
