El torneo de esgrima en silla de ruedas en los Juegos Paralímpicos de Seúl 1988 consistió en catorce pruebas, nueve masculinas —espada, florete y sable individual 1C-3 y 4-6 y espada, florete y sable por equipos— y cinco femeninas —espada y florete individual 1C-3 y 4-6 y florete por equipos—, en las que participaron setenta y dos deportistas —cincuenta y un hombres y veintiuna mujeres— de once países.^[1]
