La temporada 2019-20 de la English Football League One fue la decimosexta edición desde su creación en 2004. Corresponde a la tercera categoría del fútbol inglés y la disputan 24 equipos que buscan el ascenso a la EFL Championship.

Debido a la pandemia de COVID-19, la temporada se suspendió temporalmente el 13 de marzo.[1]​ El 9 de junio, los clubes votaron para terminar la temporada, lo que significa que la tabla final se calcularía por un método de puntos por juego con los play-offs jugando normalmente,[2]​ aplicando los resultados obtenidos por los equipos hasta la jornada 37 de la temporada.[3]​
