History
editarIn 2014 Javier Uanini, CEO & Founder of Siblings Software, arrived back in Córdoba (Argentina) after living 18 months in New York City, where he worked in a company called Cynergy Data, in the payment processing industry.
Once he returned to Argentina, he kept working for Cynergy Data for another year.
In February 2015, Javier joined Signapay, another Fintech company.
In September that year, Signapay asked Javier to hire two developers, being the first of those two Constanza Uanini, his sister. They started calling themselves “Siblings Software”, although their first project lasted only until March 2016.
Constanza quickly found a job at Mercado Libre, while Javier continued looking for remote opportunities in the USA.
He finally signed a contract with Smart Worx in 2016, a start up willing to compete with LinkedIn. Once again he was asked to hire two more developers, but this time Javier called an old friend from college, José Obregón, who at the same time recommended Maximiliano Tomassi for the third position. The three of them agreed to continue calling the future company “Siblings Software”.
They started working at an apartment, quickly finding other clients of different industries such as construction, health and events management, among others. However, in 2017, Javier’s background in payments processing brought a big opportunity: to build their own payments gateway from the beginning.
With this project they became experts in the field, integrating their gateway to big players like Tsys and Paypal, among other banking platforms. At the same time, the gateway started to be used by thousands of merchants across the USA.
In 2018 Javier Uanini and his sister Constanza decided to take a step forward and register the company as a S.A.S. (Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada) in Argentina. Siblings Software was born officially. They continued working for clients based in the USA, developing different projects, venturing into other industries such as restaurant, airlines and cloud computing.
In 2021 Siblings Software was constituted as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in Florida and began the expansion process extended until today. Looking for new customers, the company is committed to find a balance between growth and profitability, assuring they will be able to manage all their new customers properly.
