Jean Bérard was born in Lyon, France in 1974. He has lived and worked in Lyon, Paris, Montreal. Since the end of the last decade, the work of Bérard, from advertising and fashion, has turned into a personal reflection and a search for meaning. Meaning that in his photographic production is finded in the representation of the cosmos with figures, shapes and colors, and in different states of matter: solid, liquid and gas, as well as minimum conditions of human being.
