TracesOfWar editar

@Pichu_VI: Hola Pichu. Perdóname por hacer esto en inglés, soy holandés. As I can't contact you on your own discussion page, I am leaving you a message here. I am wondering why my edits on Henri Winkelman and Bernardo de Lippe-Biesterfeld were reversed? They have the old URL for Go2War2, a website which has been integrated into TracesOfwar. Hence Go2War2 no longer exists and the source data is now on TracesOfWar. So if you follow the url http://www.go2war2.nl/artikel/1072 then you will arrive at https://www.tracesofwar.nl/articles/1072/, with the same ID 1072. The content has remained the same, only the url has changed. These changes have been done globally, even automatically. See for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Link_rot/URL_change_requests#TracesOfWar_citations_update. Could you please explain this?

Please stop changing url refs to that website, even if the url has changed, it's on WebArchive. We usually prefer the archive link because has the content to the date the Wikipedia article was written. And be careful, judging by your edits your account may be considered a Single-purpose account, even if you are active on other wikis. Cheers. ~ℳɑrio - (¿Un té?) 16:46 10 may 2021 (UTC)Responder

@MarioFinale: Dear Mario, thank you for your message. I am editing on a global scale, Spanish is just one of 30 languages I am working on. It is very odd to me that in the Dutch, English, French, Italian and other language Wiki's I get help, even from bots, and only in the Spanish one my work is reverted. See #19 at en:WP:URLREQ for example. Could you please explain how this policy is so wildly different? Regarding WebArchive, that is false. See the link at Andreas von Aulock towards http://www.ww2awards.com/person/1498. Please follow the link on the page and you will see it gets forwarded to tracesofwar.com. So there is no link towards a WebArchive page. It just links to tracesofwar.com, where the same content is now shown as it was ever. You can even compare ID's. www.ww2awards.com/person/1498/ vs https://www.tracesofwar.com/persons/1498/. WW2Awards is an old name that is out of use. So please clarify this why you insist on this. It leads to people expecting to go to one site (ww2awards) and ending up at another (tracesofwar). Thank you! Lennard87 (discusión) 07:55 27 may 2021 (UTC)Responder

@MarioFinale: Hola Mario, a reminder to my questions above, thank you for your attention. Lennard87 (discusión) 07:55 27 may 2021 (UTC)Responder
@MarioFinale: Hola Mario, this is my final attempt. I have edited 46 languages on Wikipedia now as you can see on https://xtools.wmflabs.org/globalcontribs/Lennard87 and only here on Spanish it is giving problems. Just yesterday someone from the Portugese one helped me with their bot for 293 automatic changes even. Thank you for your attention. Lennard87 (discusión) 07:55 27 may 2021 (UTC)Responder
