RE:metroflog

Emijrp, realmente diffs no he guardado, pero las reversiones de este tipo que he hecho son varias. Pero el patrón de edición es simple, usuarios anónimos que agregan texto plano como:

metroflog.com/fulanito

fotolog.com/menganito

en distintos artículos. El texto incorporado no cae dentro de MediaWiki:Spam-blacklist pues no son enlaces, sino texto plano. Saludos. KveD (discusión) 01:55 1 dic 2008 (UTC)

Just discovered this great tool of yours. You rock! I hope it's not too much too ask, but would you be prepared modifying the script for Slovene Wikipedia a bit (if it's possible)? We have a template for including biographical images - Bioslika. The correct syntax would be something like {{bioslika|islike=imagename.ext|napis={{subst:PAGENAME}} }}. The other thing would be translating the edit summary to "Vključena bioslika s pomočjo http://tools.wikimedia.de/~emijrp/imagesforbio/". Botijo on Hungarian Wikipédia

Hello,

regarding your Botijo placing commons-links to articles; please notice that there are articles about animals/plants/fungi with a Taxobox template (hu:Template:Taxobox) which has a parameter for placing commons-link (wikicommons = ). It would be nice if either your bot would skip those articles with both taxobox and wikicommons = parameter, or it could insert the wikicommons = parameter for the taxobox (here I may be asking too much :).

Hello Emijrp, I noticed you created the page nl:Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits and nl:List of Wikipedians by number of edits (bots included). Perhaps it are only details, but we do not prefer using subpages to include as header and bottom for the table, and do not want to include interwiki's and categories in pages. Mostly we add a kind of tags like <!-- Start --> and <!-- End --> for tables which are kept updated by bots, so that bots know where to start updating. Is it possible to adjust this for the nl-wiki page so that the sibpages can be deleted? - The name of the page probably should be renamed too, to the name in Dutch language. La actual no discierne entre cuerpos astronómicos, y tiene clasificados cráteres marcianos en cuadrángulos lunares, como Lyot (cráter marciano). Arregla eso por favor. Help to find pictures

Hola Emilio. I was very delighted by your picture server for biographies. In Swedish wikipedia we went through all the suggestions in a couple of days and added thousands of pictures. Muchas gracias! Would it be difficult to do a similar thing without limiting it to certain categories? Why not suggest pictures for all articles that lack picture but have interwiki links to articles that do have picture in commons? To limit the computation task to an acceptable size, you could limit the search to articles that are represented in a small Wikipedia, spanish, danish or icelandic. Of course the a text under the picture couldn't be generated automatically. But that can be done by the humans. Then it would also be nice to get help to find the links to picture collections in commons. This is your chance to put many people to fruitful work. The suggestion above is to limit the amount of articles by considering only those articles that are linked from a suitably small wikipedia, by language. English is huge, yes. But icelandic is very small. Maybe spanish is ok. I would expect you to have a special interest in adding pictures to the spanish wikipedia. Prepara el BOT

Te voy a dar algo de trabajo (que no muerde xD), Tenemos una IP con ganas de tocar la moral a todos los wikipedistas, se trata de una IP troleadora que insulta a quienes tienen pensamientos diferentes del suyo (el tio en cuestion es de extrema derecha, imaginate), el cual llama a todos Marxistas, agentes de la KGB, Nostalgicos del muro, etc. Me gustaria que prepararasd el BOT para cuando el tio deje un mensaje troleando sea revertido al instante, por ejemplo este de la discusion Cancer[3]: --Ravave (discusión) 15:24 17 dic 2008 (UTC)

The reason for the botflag is so that edits that are done repeatedly and noone should check shouldn't be visible. There is no reason why your edits should be hidden (I'd like to know when you update the page), and as such you shouldn't use botflag. If you had updated the page every ten minutes, I'd agree that you should have a botflag... Laaknor (discusión) 12:55 21 dic 2008 (UTC)
