Without doubt, many other of the taxa listed are also misattributed, but I have not been able to verify all of them myself. Regarding the page "Charles Le Forestier", Charles Le Forestier was a retired military squadron leader and botanist, not the physician for whom Forestiera was named. The abbreviation "Forest." in botany refers to Aime De Forestier, another retired military man and botanist, for whom the two species listed on the same page were in fact named. If an eponym does not refer to a individual, and should be removed from an article, then where in the article am I to put the reference once the erroneous matter it disproves is removed? The reference that proves the claim is wrong is the same source that the contributor of the incorrect entry wrongly cites! Is this a situation which can not be corrected in any way. Check out Dawson Turner, who is claimed to have had genus named for him long before he was born Nomen ambiguum (discusión) 23:37 3 dic 2013 (UTC)Responder
